Talks, groups and workshops

Alison is an experienced facilitator and public speaker and offers talks and workshops for the public, educational and private sectors, as well as group-based clinical interventions.

Topics for workshops and talks focus on either clinical areas, such as understanding mental illness, stress reduction techniques, dealing with depression and anxiety, or personal or team development topics, such as dealing with difficult emotions, introduction to mindfulness, how to make good choices, assertiveness training, and everyday tools to deal with negativity.

Alison is also happy to discuss bespoke presentations and talks on various topics and provide follow-up coaching for those interested in more intensive training and development. .

  • 3. Five key skills to reduce stress and live more fully.
  • 4. Emotions: how to enjoy the pleasant, and befriend the difficult.
These topics can be covered as hour long presentations or immersive one or two day workshops.
In these talks, Alison draws on life lessons she has learned in her life as an international TV producer, world traveller and wanna-be Buddhist nun. These can be designed according to audience needs but can focus on issues related to meaning-making, identity, courage and acceptance.
