Ahu Kocak

Registered & Forensic Psychologist

Ahu is a registered psychologist with endorsement in Forensic Psychology. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and Fellow of the College of Forensic Psychologists. Ahu has over 15 years’ experience in clinical, community and forensic settings

​Ahu is trained in the use of Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Applied Behavioural Analysis, Exposure Therapy, Imagery rescripting and crisis management. She has considerable experience in working with clients who experience emotional dysregulation, trauma symptoms, personality traits which cause problems in work, social or legal matters. Ahu also specialises in assessments for family, civil or criminal courts as well as developing and applying systematic processes, and therapeutic group programs, in line with evidence-based practices, across a range of correctional settings. She is fluent in both English and Turkish and has Elementary proficiency in Arabic.


Ahu is open to children 10 + years for criminal proceedings and adolescents for other assessments. She does not see children and adolescents for therapy.
