
Richard Cordiner
Counsellor
Richard (he/him) is a counsellor and psychotherapist who works with adults to explore a broad range of issues. including depression, grief and loss, neurodiversity, sexual and gender identity, and relationship difficulties.
Richard employs an eclectic, tailored approach that allows each person to explore their identity, goals, and challenges in a way that works for them. This approach draws from a number of evidence-based therapies in order to help a person express themselves in a safe and comfortable manner. Of these, person-centred and narrative therapies form the core of this approach.
Richard has a background in academia, private industry, and the public service, before becoming a counsellor. He enjoys bouldering and running, as well as boardgames, videogames, movies, and anything else that tells a good story.
